COMPETITION FILTER

I.M.S. produces a range of competition filters designed to bring out the best in your coffee.

The SHAPE and PERFORATION have been designed and calibrated so as to ensure the ideal extraction.

The recalibration of the perforation type means that there is uniformity in the diameter of the holes and the surface mirror finish facilitates cleaning of the filter.

The I.M.S. COMPETITION FILTER enhances the high quality features of different types of coffee, maintaining the body and texture of the cream.

 

B70, B68, B66 and B65 SERIES

The filter series determines its compatibility with the coffee machine and is indicated in the first three characters of the item code. In addition to the two series currently in production, I.M.S. creates specific products for different groups.

I.M.S. COMPETITION PERFORATION

I.M.S. perforation is exclusive and patented.

HOLE DIAMETER: 0.30 mm

The 0.30 mm hole is designed to achieve a balanced coffee filtering that allows the extraction of all the aromatic notes, keeping intact the body and the texture of the cream.

SHAPE OF THE HOLE: CIRCULAR with CONICAL cross section.

The inner wall of the I.M.S. perforation is polished, with no corners or burrs. These unique features allow the coffee to slip out without obstruction.

TYPE OF PERFORATION: Relaminated and Recalibrated.

The IMS Competition perforation consists of the relamination and recalibration steps: perforation burrs are removed and the material in the perforated area is hardened making it more resistant and eliminating the problem of premature rupture. Through recalibration, the diameter of the perforations is uniform to ensure the constancy of dispensing, for both the whole surface and interchangeability between the filters.

FINISHING

IMMAGINE ELETTROLUCIDATURA

TUMBLING: Wet vibrofinishing with ceramic inserts and drying with corncob

PICKLING: removes light oxidations and prepares steel for electropolishing.

ELECTROPOLISHING: It operates on the surface by removing ions that accumulates on material ripples, minimizing superficial micro-roughness. thanks to preferential removal of nickel and iron atoms the surface is passivated to improve the corrosion resistance of stainless steel.

ELETTROLUCIDATURA pre-post

This finish ensures smooth surfaces, easily cleaned, with unmatched sanitary and non-contaminating qualities, it also significantly reduces adherence of dirt, helping the removal of coffee residuals.
