Manual lever machines like the Flair 58 offer ultimate control over flow profiling and pressure. Upgrading to IMS precision filters and shower screens ensures that your manual adjustments translate directly into a perfectly even, channeled-free extraction in the cup.
The Flair 58 features an industry-standard 58mm commercial group head compatible with E61 style shower screens. The IMS E61200 series (including the standard IM, Nanotech NT, or the E&B Lab variants) fits perfectly, improving water dispersion across the puck.
Flair 58: This model uses standard commercial 58mm portafilters. Any of our B70 series precision baskets (IMS Competition, E&B Lab Flat, Nanotech, etc.) will fit. Just select the height that matches your desired dose.
Note: Smaller Flair models (like the Neo, Classic, Signature, or PRO 2) use proprietary, non-58mm portafilters and are generally not compatible with standard commercial 58mm baskets.

Yes! A puck screen is highly recommended for manual lever machines. Placing a 58.5mm IMS Puck Screen on top of your prepared coffee bed softens the initial water impact, distributes the manual pressure evenly across the entire surface, and keeps your brew head perfectly clean.
