Izzo with IMS?

Izzo machines, especially the Dual Boiler and HX PID models, are celebrated for their incredible temperature stability. Upgrading to IMS components ensures that this thermal precision is met with perfect water dispersion and a flawless, even extraction.

Most of Izzo's prosumer machines (like the Alex Duetto or Vivi) utilize the classic E61 group head. This means the highly popular IMS E61200 series (including the E61200IM or E61200NT) will fit perfectly, providing a much gentler and uniform water shower over your coffee puck.

Izzo portafilters accommodate standard commercial 58mm baskets. Our B70 series precision filters (including IMS Competition, Flat, and Nanotech models) are the ideal upgrade. Simply choose the height (e.g., H24 for standard doubles, H26 for larger doses) that best matches your daily recipe.

Yes, especially with E61 groups. A 58.5mm IMS Puck Screen placed on top of the coffee bed acts as a secondary dispersion screen. It prevents coffee grounds from being sucked back into the 3-way solenoid valve and keeps the shower screen pristine, reducing the need for frequent backflushing.
