Most traditional Carimali models like the Centocinquanta, Bubble, and Diva use the GA200 series shower screens (GA200IM or GA200NT). These screens provide a significantly better water dispersion than stock mesh filters, helping to prevent channeling.
Absolutely. The Nanotech (NT) quartz coating is specifically designed for high-volume environments. It prevents coffee oils and grounds from sticking to the shower screen and filter baskets. This means a simple purge or a quick wipe is enough to keep the group head clean, saving time and ensuring no rancid oils affect the flavor of the next shot.
Carimali traditional portafilters accept standard 58mm commercial baskets. Our B70 series precision filter baskets are fully compatible. For the best fit, we recommend using a 58.4mm precision tamper to ensure perfect edge-to-edge compaction within the IMS basket.
Yes. For Carimali machines with a 58mm group head, the DS58.5 puck screen acts as an additional distribution layer. It protects the shower screen from coffee particles and helps soften the water pressure impact on the puck, leading to more uniform extractions and cleaner equipment.
