about HUGH
While the HUGH Leverpresso utilizes a nominal 51mm basket diameter, its proprietary portafilter design and internal depth requirements differ slightly from standard 51mm commercial or domestic machines (like La Pavoni or Delonghi). Because of this, standard IMS 51mm baskets may not sit flush or create a perfect seal.
We are constantly evaluating the manual and portable espresso market. Joining our waiting list helps our R&D team understand the real-world demand for dedicated HUGH precision components, accelerating the design process.
If you are using the standard 51mm basket provided by HUGH, a 51mm IMS Puck Screen might physically fit inside. However, due to the unique manual lever design and water chamber mechanics of the Leverpresso, we currently recommend waiting for a setup specifically tested and approved for HUGH's exact specifications.
