Meraki machines use a standard commercial 58mm group head. Our 58mm precision baskets (often recognized by their B70 or B702 product codes) and 58.5mm puck screens are a perfect fit for your portafilter.
Yes! While the machine controls flow and temperature with absolute precision, the basket dictates how water physically passes through the coffee. A precision laser-cut IMS basket ensures that Meraki's perfect water delivery isn't hindered by uneven hole sizes or blockages common in standard baskets.
Using an IMS 58.5mm Puck Diffuser Screen with your Meraki helps keep the machine's shower screen perfectly clean, reducing maintenance. More importantly, it provides an even gentler water dispersion, which is ideal for the low-pressure pre-infusion phases programmed into the machine.
We highly recommend a precision tamper sized between 58.4mm and 58.5mm to ensure a snug fit inside our 58mm baskets. This guarantees edge-to-edge tamping and minimizes the risk of channeling along the walls of the basket, allowing the Meraki's smart profiling to work flawlessly.
