Profitec with IMS?

Profitec is synonymous with robust German engineering and exceptional build quality. Whether you have the legendary E61 group (Pro 400, 500, 600, 700) or the fast-heating ring brew group (Pro 300), upgrading to IMS precision baskets and shower screens allows you to maximize extraction uniformity and elevate your home barista game.

All standard Profitec machines use a commercial 58mm portafilter. Our 58mm precision baskets (often marked with B70 or B702 product codes) are a perfect drop-in upgrade for your original portafilter, whether spouted or bottomless.

For Profitec models featuring the classic E61 group head (like the Pro 400, Pro 500, Pro 600, and Pro 700), our standard E61 series shower screens are exactly what you need. They provide optimal water dispersion, reducing channeling and keeping the group head much cleaner over time.

The Pro 300 uses a specific ring brew group, while the Pro 800 is a dedicated lever machine. While they all use our 58mm precision baskets perfectly, you should use our configurator above to ensure you select the correct, specific shower screen designed for the ring group or lever group.

Yes! We strongly recommend a 58.4mm to 58.5mm precision tamper to ensure a perfect fit in your IMS basket, preventing water from escaping down the sides. Additionally, placing an IMS 58.5mm Puck Screen on top keeps your Profitec's group head spotless and further softens the water impact during pre-infusion.
