IMS laser-cut filters remove the extraction irregularities common in standard baskets, ensuring every shot is clean, sweet, and perfectly balanced.
Quality Espresso machines utilize industry-standard 58mm commercial group heads. Our B70 series precision filter baskets are fully compatible with Futurmat, Gaggia, Visacrem, and Mairali portafilters, providing a significant boost in extraction quality.
Yes. Replacing the stock wire-mesh shower screen with an IMS precision laser-cut screen ensures that water is dispersed like a fine rain rather than jets. This prevents dry spots and early channeling, which is vital for high-volume coffee service.
To maximize the surface area of your extraction and prevent side-channeling, we recommend a precision tamper sized between 58.4mm and 58.5mm. This ensures a perfect fit against the straight, vertical walls of our precision filters.
A 58.5mm IMS Puck Screen is an excellent addition. It keeps the group heads and dispersion blocks of your machine remarkably clean from coffee oils and residue. In busy cafes, this reduces the need for backflushing during service and speeds up the closing cleaning routine.
