Wega machines are celebrated worldwide as reliable, heavy-duty commercial workhorses. Whether you are pulling hundreds of shots a day in a busy cafe or brewing at home with a Mininova, installing IMS precision filter baskets and shower screens ensures unmatched consistency, reducing channeling and boosting extraction yields shot after shot.

The vast majority of Wega machines (such as the Polaris, Pegaso, Sphera, and Mininova) utilize a standard commercial 58mm group head. For these models, simply select "Other Models" in the configurator, and our 58mm precision baskets (B70 series) will fit your portafilter perfectly.

The high-end Wega MyConcept is an exception, as it uses a deeper, narrower 53mm group head architecture. If you own this machine, be sure to select "MyConcept" from the machine model dropdown. The configurator will then direct you to our specialized 53mm precision filters designed specifically for this advanced group head.

For standard 58mm Wega models, we recommend a precision tamper sized between 58.4mm and 58.5mm to ensure an edge-to-edge seal. If you are using the 53mm filters for the MyConcept, you should use a precision tamper sized between 53mm and 53.4mm.

Yes. Replacing the stock woven wire shower screen with an IMS laser-cut precision screen provides a much more uniform, rain-like dispersion of water. This prevents harsh jets of water from piercing the coffee puck, ensuring a more balanced and forgiving extraction.
