Promac with IMS?
Promac espresso machines are built for reliability in busy cafes. However, standard OEM baskets are often made with lower precision tolerances, which can lead to channeling and inconsistent shots during peak hours. By upgrading to IMS precision baskets and shower screens, you ensure that every group head on your Promac machine pulls a perfectly uniform and sweet shot, providing consistent quality for every customer.
Promac commercial machines (such as the Green or Club series) utilize the standard commercial 58mm group head. Our 58mm precision filter baskets (the B70 series) are a direct, precision-fit upgrade for your Promac portafilters.
Promac machines typically share the same group head design as many Rancilio commercial models. We offer specific 58mm precision shower screens that replace the stock wire mesh, ensuring a softer and more uniform distribution of water over the coffee bed.
To maximize your extraction and prevent water from escaping down the sides, we strongly recommend using a precision tamper sized between 58.4mm and 58.5mm.
Yes! A 58.5mm IMS Puck Screen provides an extra layer of water diffusion and keeps the internal dispersion block of your Promac machine remarkably clean. For busy cafes, this means less time spent scrubbing group heads during service and faster cleanup at the end of the day.
